Spiritual Reading and Writing
This class offers hospitality to people who desire connection, stimulation, and spiritual companionship. Retreatants come prepared to share a portion of their month’s journaling with the group and share how they are being formed by their current spiritual reading. Short readings for reflection from classic or contemporary authors will be enjoyed together or handed out at the beginning of the weekend with optional exercises for journaling. Various writing forms may be explored. Generous amounts of silence and solitude in which to read and write are built into the schedule.
