Kairos Classes
Kairos offers several year-long classes for people who want to explore subject areas in depth. Classes meet on the weekend once a month (September - May) and are held at the Jesuit Center in Wernersville, PA, unless indicated otherwise.
Click on the links below for more information on each class and registration information. The courses offered annually are:
Spiritual Formation- Kairos offers four classes in spiritual formation: Year One (Drawing Nearer to God); Year Two (Prayer and the Contemplative Life); Year Three (Putting on the Mind of Christ); and Year Four (Wholly Listening, Wholly Present). These courses present the foundation of the Kairos program.
Spiritual Direction- is an evocative, experiential mode of being with directees as they attend to God's activity in their lives and prayer. Kairos classes in this area include Spiritual Direction Training and Supervision of Spiritual Directors.
Spiritual Guidance- is a class for clergy, pastors and congregational leaders who are called to guide people and the congregations they serve.
Retreat in Everyday Life- is a class for people who have experienced the 30-day retreat or the Retreat in Everyday Life (19th Annotation). The students will learn how to give the Retreat in Everyday Life according to The Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius of Loyola.
The supportive Kairos community of experienced faculty and trained spiritual directors draws from the wisdom of contemplative spirituality to encourage this journey. Christian spiritual practices, scripture, contemplative prayer and classic devotional writings illumine each path. Contact the Kairos office to discuss how specific classes might meet your unique goals and expectations.
